Nick & Chris Leave

Hi all

It is with great sadness that the band announce that Chris and Nick have  put in their notice to leave the band and will be doing so soon.  Their last gig is probably going to be at The Stage Coach in Wesyt Lavington either in November or early December

Chris and Nick are original members who together with Neil formed the band in 2002.  They are going to be greatly missed and their contribution in terms of musical input, organisation and friendship has been a backbone of the band. Their leaving is a massive loss to the rest of the group.

Both have other projects they are working on and have said that they are unable to remain committed to the Shed's practice and gigging routines.

Other news in the band is that the observant amongst you may have noticed that Amy is pregnant with her first baby, and now is taking a break from the band until after the birth.  Amy was last seen singing in the  TurtleShed acoustic spinoff  'Hanging on the Hoo'  at the Duck Inn Laverstock last month.  Our love and best wishes go with her and look forwad to her return in January.

Paul, Tim, Neil and Amy intend to rally together, keep the name of the band going and get some great new musicians to try to fill Chris and Nick's shoes and continue with renewed enthusiasm and vigour as soon as possible and hopefully will be up and gigging in a pub near you, by January.  Hopefully Marc our great sound soundman who does so much for the band behind the scenes will also be staying.

DON'T forget the Coopers in November for the boys' swan song.
