Amesbury
Rocks
Last friday saw Turtle Shed play at the New Inn in
Amesbury, there first public venture to the town as they migrate slowly south
for the summer. Considering it was only booked a couple of days it was well
attended and whats more everyone stayed. The band played well and certainly
showed everyone that they were enjoying themselves. The whole pub was up
dancing by the end and the landlord was well pleased, after the band had
finished with their two encores and an impressive forty songs throughout the
night.
As I said in an earlier post, they are looking to
do a few more public gigs this years amongst the many private parties already
booked, and any suggestions for pubs who might want this fun loving band to
entertain their locals will be considered.
Next booked is 21st June at the Four Seasons
Devizes and then 12th July Churchill Arms West Lavington. Keep your eye on the
gig page for any changes and additions.
Thanks once more for the support of the usual posse
and the band will see you soon............or vice versa
Keeping it in harmony
