Stop Press - Hello Bebe Su... Fairwell Sarah

A quadruple (is that right)  news item

A big news item today.  Resting Shed Backing singer Kate has just had a healthy large baby girl and the bands wishes Bebe Su a hearty welcome into this mad world and send their love to Kate, Ben and Lol at this happy and busy time.  Well done Kate 9lb 10 oz is some achievement .  (Though Neil does make claim to once catching an 11lb Trout which he says was painful too)

Also Turtle Shed wish to say fairwell to Sarah Lawrence who helped them massively in the early days, fixing them with venues to practice and also sorting out gigs during those starting out times.  Sarah, as well as being West Lavington hippest cool thing has been a great support to the band and was even one of those few people to attend the opening of the great Shrewton Music Festival of 2004 when the band were on the same stage and bill as Eric Bibb. What a day.  Good luck in those foreign lands Sarah, and the Shed's shadow will walk beside you (but only if you go in the shade).  Keep in touch and keep checking out this web site for all the news on your friends and if you come across a very rich oil person wanting a gig give them our number.

Now on 26th May the village of Shrewton sees a smaller but nevertheless great musical event once more.  The bash being hosted by the Plume and Feathers and arranged by the chaps at www.allthekit.com promises to be a groovy couple of days so check out the web site.  The main attraction will be those aging farmers the Wurzels and Turtle Shed are playing a bit before them to raise the temperature and get the feet tapping and the straw wilting.  Some tickets left so come along to what will be a great laugh.

And also there will be a slight break of events for the sheds after that as Neil and Tim are doing there own road trip and riding off into the sunset on their motorbikes for 10 days down to the south of France (ROCK'N'ROLL!!!!)so hopefully they'll be still walking when they get back to play the all important gig at Amy's wedding.  Anyway don't forget stick your comments (all abuse welcome) on the comments page or E your fave shed by going to the contact us page.

I've been SAM at a secret location behind a marshall amp.

Keep the Faith

Sam
