Stop Press - The Shed's Break Shrewton 2005

Hello Shrewton

You know not many bands can say it and the Shed don't like to say it but they are 'Big in Shrewton', a relatively high percentage of the population turned out to see their gig at the Rec ground last Saturday night.  And what a gig it was small in terms of cock-ups and large in terms of Rock and Roll.  And what 's more it was a fund raiser for the local primary school and a healthy £900 was raised to buy the wee people things that wee people like.

Unfortunately for Nick, he lives in the area and the notoriety is becoming somewhat of a challenge as he takes his small people to the said school. Adulation everywhere.  It may be the trailer he's just bought.

It was a good night and the band were supported by that great DJ Veg chap slim.  Though Tim's voice was a bit gravely due to a chest infection he battled through and triumphed with a new acoustic song.  Neil's own song Standing in the Corner (Berrett/Tozer) was aired once more to rapturous applause, and may well become a single.  (well. the single only song he ever writes).

So the band say. They are glad to help the financial situation of the school (though perhaps the govt. should....) and they say please Shrewton be kind to the m, don't make them wear sunglasses all winter...........

Don't forget any questions, complaints comments, use the comments page
