What kit do you use? -

The best bit of kit I have is my car... driving to work and back every day provides me with enough time to practice harmonising to Tim's dulcet tones!

I occasionally get to use Tim's tamborine and maraccas, but only when I've been good!

Tell us about your musical past -

I started off singing in many a School choir, the last one of which took us touring all over England in various Cathedrals and even Windsor Castle!

I then moved away from the choir side of things and joined the more 'pop' side of things with En Masse for few years (Charlotte Church got her idea of moving into pop from me you know!) .  En Masse enabled me to perform every year at the City Hall and we practiced every week. 

Who are your musical influences? -

I LOVE eighties cheese music!  Growing up with an older brother and sister helped me out with this one as I'm almost too young to remember the eighties!  I really like Bryan Adams and also KT Tunstall at the moment, but I listen to loads of different types of music and I tend to go through phases of liking something one minute and not the next!

Who inspires you most in music? -

I used to be quite self concious, so getting up infront of people and singing really freaks me out at times!  Seeing Tim (the biggest poser in the World!) up on stage with the rest of the guys all just enjoying themselves and producing some fab music gets me through it all though and within a matter of minutes and I'm able to relax and have a good time!  The Sheds have been great to me since I joined them and I'm learning loads from them so I would have to say that they inspire me the most!!!

What was your most memorable moment with Turtle Shed? -

I've not been with the Sheds for long but I think the best moment I've had was at the Four Seasons in Devizes a little while ago.  The atmosphere was unbelievable and despite the smallest of spaces to dance in everyone was up and smiling and throwing themselves all over the place!  I came out of there on a real high and really look forward to the next time we play there!

So when the band are given a huge wedge of money and asked to devote their entire lives to entertaining people with brilliant music what will be your reaction? -

Wow, what a question!!!!!  I love my job, but if could earn more money by hanging out with these guys all the time and eat cheesy chips every day I would definitely be up for it!!!
